Opening with a splash of refreshing lemon and lime mingling with aromatic elements of bergamot mint and lemon thyme. These notes are layered on orange flowers and juniper and linger on the skin with subtle shades of incense.

Inspired by the river that flows through the lush meadows at Keyneston Mill, Home of Parterre, where the key ingredients are grown, harvested and distilled. A genuinely rare limited-edition, expertly crafted by our Master Perfumer in Grasse.

Their rare fragrances are defined by the unique natural ingredients that they grow and distil on their botanical sustainable estate. Parterre is about creating genuinely rare perfume by working with the natural elements of the environment and the extraordinary world of plants and their botanical properties. Each year a finite number of bottles of perfume are created from each extraction, to offer a true limited edition eau de parfum.

Bergamot mint, grown on Parterre estate, combines the subtleties of the citrus fruit with the cool and aromatic qualities of mint leaves. Unusual, fresh and uplifting.

INGREDIENTS: Alcohol Denat, Parfum, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool.

THE PERFUME HOUSE

FROM SEED TO BOTTLE
The key ingredients for all Parterre Fragrances are grown and distilled at Keyneston Mill. The skilled team oversee the production process from seeds and seedlings, through planting in the crop fields, to harvest and distillation. The intensity of the fragrance is achieved through care and nurturing of the plants, and picking at the optimum moment. It’s knowing what to grow and when to grow – but also when to harvest, distil and refine.

EXTRACT CREATION
The focus is on unusual ingredients, from Dorset-grown Vetiver to citrus herbs such as Bergamot Mint or Lemon Thyme. The plants are carefully nurtured on the 50-acre estate, then taken to the distillery when still fresh. Finally, they are matured, before sending to Jacques (see below) to form part of their fragrances.

PERFUME CREATION
Once the extracts are ready, they are sent to Master Perfumer, Jacques Chabert at his laboratory in Grasse, where he, his daughters and his team use their skill and artistry, incorporating the rare and unusual Parterre essential oils in their creations.
